On June 6th, 67 club members met for our tenth Annual General Meeting. Before the business portion of the meeting, we listened to a powerful presentation from guest speaker Kathleen Ann Kelly, a retired nun who worked as a nurse midwife in the slums of Peruvian villages and cities for almost three decades, at the same time as a turbulent revolution embroiled the country. Kathleen, who lives in the Comox Valley, recently wrote Where Dogs Dwell, her memoirs of those years.
