Growing, Changing, Honouring our Roots
We are grateful to our founding members, five of whom are still active in the club today: John McIsaac, Michele Morton, Tony Nicol, Tricia Nicol, and Marilyn Ray.

In 2013, a story ran in our local paper and as a result 50 people attended a follow-up Probus informational meeting. Nine plucky folks put their hands up and agreed to start a brand-new club!

The first general meeting for Glacier Probus was the following September. At the end of the first monthly meeting, 106 members signed up for one or more of the 28 activity groups. Activities were the club's strength and remained so after ten years.

The club has been an early adopter of technology. Honorary member Keith Millard set up systems and a website to support the club and helped other Probus clubs in the valley do the same.

As we look forward to an even brighter future, we embrace change while staying committed to an activity-based community that thrives on contribution and participation.
