Our morning walk took us along the One Spot trail northwards from Tsolum Spirit Park northwards to Headquarters Rd. We then turned left on Headquarters until reaching a foot path which led us southwards through the woods to Farnham Rd where we turned left once more to reach the One Spot trail where it crossed Fitzgerald. From here, we retraced our One Spot route back to the Park.
Again, we were happy to have changed our timing to mornings for the summer as while the temperatures were comfortable during our walk, they were into the mid 20s by the afternoon.
We tried a new venue for our debrief - the new coffee shop at Paradise Plants Nursery at Hwy 19 and Hardy Rd. All agreed that the Nursery was an excellent choice for when we walk in that area.
